As part of our Occupational Therapy team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by providing life-changing support that enhances independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapists who share our passion for disability and are eager to be part of a fast-paced, energetic, and fun work environment. As an Occupational Therapist at our organization, you will have the flexibility to work in various settings, including community and clinic spaces, and enjoy regular team meetings, team-building events, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine interest in continually developing their skills. Additionally, they will have experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists and a passion for working in the disability sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services to meet the needs of our clients.
- Assess clients' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' quality of life and meet their goals.
- Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
