Salary and Benefits
- The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $207,909 to $228,949 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
- In addition to a base salary, you will be eligible for district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options, resulting in a total effective package of up to $250,045 to $273,824 per annum.
- As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy six weeks' annual leave, generous salary packaging, and access to the Congress health services for you and your family at no cost.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team in Alice Springs. The successful candidate will provide culturally safe GP services within a comprehensive primary health care framework across all sections of our Health Services Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary healthcare services to patients, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and health education.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous growth and development of our services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a General Practitioner in a similar role.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to cultural safety and providing equitable healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
