Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at the Alice Springs Youth Detention Centre.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a newly established therapeutic team, providing comprehensive care to young people in detention. This role is part-time (0.5 FTE) and offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on the lives of many individuals.
About the RoleAs a Primary Care Physician, you will provide culturally safe healthcare services within a primary health care framework. You will work closely with the team to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of young people in detention.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality primary healthcare services to young people in detention
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic care plans
- Maintain accurate records and participate in regular team meetings
- A competitive salary range of $207,909 - $228,949 per annum (pro-rata)
- Total effective package: $250,045 - $273,824 per annum (pro-rata)*
