Pricing Actuary Role

This role focuses on delivering pricing strategies for general insurance products. We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with internal stakeholders and leverage their capabilities in Earnix Price-It.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing high-level algorithms and data analysis models to deliver updated prices ready for market
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to interpret and apply complex pricing techniques, including GLMs, Machine Learning, Price Simulation and Rate Setting
  • Understanding the impact of pricing on business performance KPIs
  • Managing projects or assignments related to pricing for various products
  • Providing input into a standard practice for pricing approaches in future product delivery

About You

To succeed, you will have:

  • A proven track record in pricing general insurance products, particularly in commodity / Personal Lines
  • An understanding of Business-As-Usual pricing processes and relationships with stakeholders
  • A strong working knowledge of Earnix Price-It, including its features and data structures
  • Ability to analyse and communicate technical pricing data and concepts professionally
  • A Bachelor's degree in an actuarial or mathematically focused area
