Senior Construction Quality Assurance Specialist NSW/ACT

As a Senior Construction Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that projects across the NSW/ACT region meet statutory and contractual quality requirements. This position is ideal for a seasoned Foreman or Supervisor looking to transition into a quality-focused role, or an individual with experience in similar roles on large-scale construction projects.
Responsibilities:- Ensure project compliance with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory/legal requirements.
- IDentify, manage, and monitor quality objectives, risks, and issues impacting successful project delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to project leadership teams to foster a quality culture driving business improvement.
- Maintain robust risk management processes, capabilities, focus, and discipline within the workplace.
- Provide technical quality expertise and ensure the workplace meets its regulatory and legal obligations related to quality.
- Lead and mentor quality staff to achieve excellence.
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures, demonstrating leadership in communicating requirements.
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management, or Project Management.
- Experience in quality management roles.
- Quality assurance experience in construction, transport, or related industries.
- Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems.
