The role of the Lifestyle Officer is responsible for enhancing the wellbeing of residents through leisure and recreational activities. To be successful in this position, you will possess certain skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate Lifestyle and Wellbeing programs
  • Document and record activities using computer systems
  • Develop strong relationships with elderly residents and their families
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
  • Experience working in Aged Care & Dementia Care (Residential aged care and or experience working with clients with dementia)

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current Influenza Vaccination, or willingness to get vaccinated
  • Full work rights in Australia
