Job Description:

We are seeking an Urban Designer to join our team of experienced professionals in delivering exceptional results across diverse project portfolios. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban design, architecture, or landscape architecture and be proficient in producing high-quality written and illustrative documentation.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our development, government, and infrastructure clients to design and deliver great places that meet the needs of local communities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop integrated urban design concepts for a range of projects, including urban design frameworks and guidelines for major development and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Produce high-quality written and illustrative documentation that meets AECOM's and client standards
  • Work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Requirements:
  1. Tertiary degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or similar
  2. Proven experience in supporting delivery of Urban design packages
  3. Demonstrable experience in working with State or Federal Government clients/projects
  4. Ability to communicate effectively and positively with a broad range of clients, stakeholders, and project partners
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and Adobe Creative Suite
