Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Security Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our security strategies and practices.

As the Head of Security Operations, you will oversee the design, implementation, and evolution of our security practices, techniques, tools, systems, and policies. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that our infrastructure and product deployments are secure and meet the highest standards of security and integrity.

You will lead initiatives to integrate threat intelligence into our broader software development process and collaborate with our Organisational Learning and Development team to develop playbooks and facilitate training across the organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the security posture of our organisation and contribute to the development of our next-generation security solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and evolve our security practices, techniques, tools, systems, and policies
  • Oversee the development and implementation of incident response playbooks
  • Lead initiatives to integrate threat intelligence into our broader software development process
  • Collaborate with our Organisational Learning and Development team to develop playbooks and facilitate training
  • Work closely with our engineering team to ensure that our infrastructure and product deployments meet the highest standards of security and integrity
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven track record of mitigating advanced threats and nation-state threats
  • Expert technical understanding of SOCs from the ground up
  • Deep knowledge of Linux security and ability to define, implement, automate, and measure effective incident response playbooks
  • Knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools
  • Experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds
  • Excellent business English writing and presentation skills
  • Leadership and management ability
