Job Overview

Job Summary:

As a Construction Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing site installation activities, providing required coordination with civil works, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support EM Site Engineers and Civil Construction Managers in all aspects of operations and job fulfillment
  • Identify opportunities for improvement at site and in daily operation
  • Collaborate with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, and information as needed
  • Supervise EM Site Installations in coordination with site Engineers
  • Communicate with EM Site Engineers and EM subcontractor's staff on a daily basis
  • Ensure crews comply with FGJV and client specific safety guidelines and provide required safety documentation and records
  • Review meetings to monitor progress of various projects according to target schedule, reporting to EM site Engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications or related discipline
  • White Card
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in mechanical installations, testing, and commissioning
  • Project site management capability and working to deadlines in a contracting environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
