Job Opportunity

A senior professional is sought to lead the implementation of regulatory compliance strategies across Australia and New Zealand. This role requires a strong understanding of regional regulations, particularly in security, infrastructure, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on regional regulations, supporting AWS customers, auditors, and regulators in navigating complex compliance requirements.
  • Anticipate emerging regulatory developments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on AWS and its customers.
  • Lead long-term projects aimed at enhancing security and compliance processes for AWS and its regulated clients.
  • Innovate solutions to improve customer experience in security assurance.
  • Conduct assessments of emerging compliance programs to ensure alignment with industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in regulatory compliance, with 10+ years of experience in banking or non-banking supervision and examination, or government agencies involved in cybersecurity management and operations.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, IT Security Management).
  • Proven expertise in program design and management.
  • Experience in work related to security assurance, including cybersecurity, audit, or security architecture.
