It is this blend of technical expertise and the personal relationships we have with our clients that sets us apart from our competitors.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the IT Security and Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing professional IT security and compliance services to Meridian Lawyers across our six offices.
Your duties will include:GovernanceBuilding and continuing to develop our Information Security ServicesAssisting in the development and maintenance of cyber related policies and proceduresOperationsMonitoring and responding to cyber incidents and alerts for change in service status reportsOverseeing business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recover (DR) plans and testingAssisting with the management of risks and security incidentsTracking security trends and developments, benchmark the organisation's security practices against industry standardsComplianceConducting functionality and gap analyses to determine compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsEstablishing processes to review the implementation of new technologies to ensure security complianceAssisting in providing training and mentoring to the broader organisationPeriodically assisting with the assessment of information security risk for the overall organisationReviewing security issues brought out during security testing and provide necessary actionsReviewing security-related audit issues and providing guidance as requiredReporting and Compliance ManagementPreparing management reports on information security KPIs/KRIs and progress on security initiativesComplete cyber and other security related third party assessmentsAssisting in the delivery of cyber security related audit activitiesSupportProviding frontline cyber security direction and input to applications, hardware and services provided to the organisationProviding cyber security related input into technology processes such as patching, managing user accounts and access rights managementAssisting with security configuration of applicationsAssisting with non-technical issues where required by the organisationAbout YouYou will have a Bachelor's degree in a cyber security, information security related degree and bring at least 3 - 4 years of experience in a cyber security role, preferably in the legal or professional services industry.You will have:Experience in the operations of a law firm (highly desirable)High level of experience in supporting and using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and TeamsKnowledge of Security frameworks and standards (ISO27001, NIST CSF)Experience with Secure Azure AD deployment and managementExperience with MFA or similarExperience with Microsoft Intune or similarExperience in developing training manuals and programsExperience in implementing and managing online training solutionsYou are known for your:Ability to work in a team and build relationships with peers and team membersCan-do attitude and willingness to help othersAbility to contribute ideas, opinions and suggestions in team discussionsEnthusiasm and responsiveness to internal clientsProfessional and courteous attitude to clients and internal stakeholdersIf you're proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to be a key contributor to a friendly and high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you.Why Join Meridian Lawyers?
