Key Position: Sustainability Manager

The role of Sustainability Manager is pivotal in driving business transformation through the implementation of cutting-edge sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a culture of innovative thinking and best practice to address customer and community needs effectively.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with community stakeholders to foster awareness about sustainability goals and initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance the project's understanding of sustainability, ensuring seamless integration across all aspects.
  • Collaborate closely with the delivery team to champion sustainable outcomes that drive business growth.
  • Monitor, measure, and evaluate sustainability performance continuously to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in the transport/construction sector and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement and innovation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sustainability professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Engineering, Science, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional understanding of sustainability rating schemes and standards.
