Job Overview

BMS Project Engineer

This role involves developing and delivering Building Management System (BMS) solutions across major projects, with a focus on the Tridium Niagara framework.

  • Design, program, and implement BMS systems for HVAC, lighting, and energy management using the Tridium Niagara platform.
  • Integrate IoT devices and protocols into building systems to enhance efficiency and functionality.
  • Provide ongoing client support and maintenance for existing solutions, with opportunities to enhance and migrate to cloud-based platforms over time.
  • Collaborate with software developers to design and implement analytics and dashboards for smart building technologies.
  • Support innovation in smart building technologies by mentoring junior engineers and exploring new ideas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in BMS design, programming, and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of the Tridium Niagara platform and related protocols.
  • Background in HVAC systems, controls, and energy optimisation.
  • Familiarity with Node-RED or similar IoT platforms is advantageous.
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
