Translational Brain Cancer Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team in the field of translational brain cancer research. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for aggressive brain cancers.

About the Role

This PhD position is part of a leading translational brain cancer lab developing Eph-targeted ADCs. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, generation, and optimization of novel ADCs and existing in-house antibodies. They will also undertake in vivo preclinical testing of ADCs in relevant brain cancer models to assess efficacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, generation, and optimization of novel ADCs and existing in-house antibodies
  • Undertake in vivo preclinical testing of ADCs in relevant brain cancer models to assess efficacy and safety
  • Analyse, interpret, and communicate experimental data, contributing to publications and conference presentations
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians to advance therapeutic strategies towards translation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A completed Honours or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, or a related discipline
  • Strong laboratory skills in cell and molecular biology (e.g. cell culture, cloning, flow cytometry, microscopy, Western blotting or related techniques)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret experimental data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A genuine interest in translational cancer research and developing novel therapeutic strategies
