Telecommunications Trainee Position

This exciting opportunity is for a Telecommunications Trainee to join our team. As a key member, you will work in line with prescribed operating frameworks and develop your skills whilst gaining valuable hands-on industry experience.

You will be responsible for assisting in the provision of technical service, solutions, and support to networks, infrastructure, products, and services supplied and operated by us. This includes helping customers by activating and assuring telecommunications/technology products and services in homes and/or business settings.

We are looking for energetic, empowered individuals who have an interest in working in one of the most integral parts of our business. You will work alongside a mentor offering ongoing coaching, support, and mentoring during your traineeship.

The role involves participating in a diverse team environment to deliver optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to our values and strategy. We have several positions available around Australia. The expectation is to reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to hold a current driver's licence, be physically fit for the role, undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening, undertake a police check, demonstrate professional and polite communication, enjoy working in a team environment, possess a positive attitude, and adhere to a safety-first approach.

As a Trainee Technician, you will be provided with Telecommunication Technology Cert III training during the traineeship, along with relevant certifications and/or licensing for the location you reside in. No prior qualifications are required. A language, literacy, and numeracy assessment undertaken by an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) is necessary.

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months with the possibility of leading to a permanent contract.
