About the Role

No To Violence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee our National Sector Development team. As the National Manager, Practice Leadership & Innovation, you will ensure that evidence-based contemporary best practice is collected, translated, reviewed, and disseminated in alignment with No To Violence's strategic vision.

You will review and provide feedback and insights on practice across the sector, identifying systemic issues and continuous improvement opportunities. You will represent No To Violence and provide thought leadership and support to the sector, positioning the development of outcome-focused, innovative interventions for authentic and sustainable change with men who use family violence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and providing feedback and insights on practice across the sector
  • Representing No To Violence and providing thought leadership and support to the sector
  • Supporting No To Violence Member practice through leadership in responding to member requests for 'incident-based' support
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on practice excellence to No To Violence Members, staff, and sector stakeholders
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A social work degree or qualification in a related field or relevant experience
  • The ability to identify, assess, and prioritise the risk and need of women, children, and families using jurisdiction-specific risk assessment and management frameworks
  • Demonstrated sector-leading clinical experience in working with men to end their use of family violence
  • A deep understanding of the men's family violence intervention sector and current practice issues
  • Proven people leadership and coaching abilities
