Job Opportunity: Sterilisation Operations Manager

  • Manage a team of sterilisation technicians to achieve efficient coordination of daily activities.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling, and re-processing.
  • Develop and maintain competency standards for yourself and other technicians in all sterilisation processes.
  • Ensure adherence to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.
  • Collaborate with Theatre & CSSD staff to guarantee timely equipment processing.

You will be a proactive and engaging leader with a keen interest in guiding and empowering your team. In addition to possessing:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation (Desirable: Certificate IV or actively working towards it).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in theatre sterilisation.
  • A thorough understanding of standards and AS4187 requirements.
  • Highly valued: Experience in coordinating loan sets.
  • Preferred: previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • A proficient understanding of CSSD processes and tasks.
  • The ability to deliver high-quality service through effective team management.
