About the Job

We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team in the Corangamite Shire Region. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties
  • Accompany clients on daily errands and provide companionship and support
  • Prepare food, feed clients, and administer medications as required
  • Observe, record, and report any changes in clients' health and wellbeing
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent qualification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Working with Children Certificate (optional)
