After Hours Practitioner Role

Bendigo and Melbourne are hubs for this dynamic after-hours service. The team requires experienced practitioners to provide expert advice, support, and complex decision-making from 4:30pm to 9am.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for clients across various age groups.
  • Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex issues over the phone.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by mental health issues or substance misuse.
  • Able to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Calm and resilient approach to challenging cases.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
