We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician to fill a key position in our health workforce at NSW Health in Broken Hill, AU. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe use and operation of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine safety and performance checks, preventative maintenance and repairs on electronic, electrical or electromechanical medical devices.
- Conduct mandatory testing & inspections of medical equipment to Australian Standards.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment service history, test results and databases.
- Degree in Electronics and Communications or equivalent qualification.
- Proven analytical skills in fault finding and problem solving.
- Ability to effectively utilise computer software and database applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
