Job Title: Professional Culinary Specialist

Culinary specialists are in high demand, and this role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team. As a permanent full-time position, you will work a flexible 14-day roster that includes weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for patients, staff, visitors, and function attendees at our health campus.
  • Collaborate with the catering team, dietitians, and managers to meet dietary requirements and maintain food safety standards.
  • Ensure meals are served in appropriate portions, at correct temperatures, and in accordance with our food safety program and nutritional guidelines.
  • Adhere to Food Safety Standards of Australia and New Zealand.
  • Meticulously measure ingredients to address specific dietary needs and maintain high hygiene in kitchen and prep areas.
  • Assist in procurement of food stock, ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements:
  • A trade certificate in catering or a related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a culinary specialist in a large-scale food preparation setting.
  • Exceptional time management skills for high-demand catering operations.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality food services and maintaining stringent hygiene standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a culinary specialist, able to work independently across all sections.
