Our organization is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional care to individuals with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in the South-West Melbourne region.
The ideal candidate will possess empathy, strong interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritize the well-being of our participants. With a focus on adapting to changing needs and working independently, we require workers who can make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Essential Requirements:
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate
- A current National Police Check
- A current Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- A valid Australian Driver's License
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- The right to work in Australia
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting daily routines for individuals with MND
- Providing basic domestic assistance
- Preparing meals tailored to individual needs
