Job Description:

The role of Associate Director Of Nursing involves providing operational direction for services to ensure efficient and effective management. The successful candidate will coordinate the delivery of nursing care, manage human, financial, and material resources, and maintain customer service at optimal levels.

As a Senior member of the Nursing Leadership Team, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursing Division with a focus on high-quality and safety service provision. This includes developing strategic directions, ongoing operational performance and innovation, and quality implementation and management within the perioperative stream.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing operational direction for services
  • Managing human, financial, and material resources
  • Maintaining customer service at optimal levels
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong customer focus
  • Financial and human resource management skills
  • Strong motivation and ability to manage change
