Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hydrogeology Specialist to join our team at SLR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking routine integrated monitoring programs, including groundwater, surface water, soils, and air quality sampling, while following SLR procedures and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake field studies, including hydrogeological site investigations, drilling programs, monitoring bore installations, and hydraulic testing.
  • Prepare quality factual reports based on field and laboratory data collected for or provided by clients.
  • Liaise with site personnel, suppliers, and laboratory personnel to support the smooth delivery of the field work.

Requirements

  • A completed short course in hydrogeology or university qualifications (Bachelor Degree or higher) in Science or Engineering, specializing in Hydrogeology or a related field.
  • Practical experience in the field of hydrogeology, with demonstrated skills in groundwater monitoring and sampling data analysis, groundwater bore drilling and construction, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Working knowledge of QLD groundwater legislation and policies, standards, and guidelines.
