Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrogeology Specialist to join our team at SLR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking routine integrated monitoring programs, performing field studies, and preparing quality factual reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct groundwater, surface water, soils, and air quality sampling while adhering to SLR procedures and industry best practices.
  • Perform hydrogeological site investigations, drilling programs, monitoring bore installations, and hydraulic testing.
  • Participate in UAV (drone) surveys and prepare Health and Safety documentation for field work.
  • Liaise with site personnel, suppliers, and laboratory personnel to ensure the smooth delivery of field work.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor Degree or higher in Science or Engineering, specializing in Hydrogeology or a related field.
  • Practical experience in hydrogeology, with demonstrated skills in groundwater monitoring and sampling data analysis, groundwater bore drilling and construction, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Working knowledge of QLD groundwater legislation and policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in groundwater data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Australian citizenship/working rights are essential.
