About the Role

The Director of Allied Health will lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver high-quality services that change lives. Based in Maitland or Tamworth, this senior leadership role will drive the growth and innovation of Allied Health services, contribute to the executive leadership team, and champion a culture of person-centred practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Allied Health teams to deliver evidence-based services.
  • Drive strategic growth, innovation, and service development aligned with organisational goals.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to strengthen service delivery.
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership, supervision, and support to Allied Health staff.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or related discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a management role within Allied Health or Community Services.
  • Strong knowledge of community services, health frameworks, and policy development.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and service growth.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Membership of relevant professional associations.
  • Experience supervising provisional psychologists (Board approved supervisor with AHPRA).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, positive behaviour support, and complex needs.
