
Freight Services Associate

As a key member of our Trade Counter team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers using a company vehicle. You will also provide customer service to plumbers and other tradespeople, undertake pick packing and stock control activities, help keep the branch and warehouse tidy and safe, and assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and trade counter.
A typical day involves:
- Delivering parts and products to customers using a company vehicle
- Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
- Helping keep the branch and warehouse tidy and safe
- Providing customer service and information about products
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in delivery driving, retail or customer service and enjoy helping customers both in person and over the phone
- The ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
- The ability to use a computer and be happy to learn new systems
- A clean, valid driver's licence and an openness to working various shifts, including weekends
- A desire to develop your career - either locally, within our network or head office
