FIFO Auto Electrician 7:7 Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team in the Bowen Basin on a 7:7 roster.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to have relevant trade qualifications, drill or excavator maintenance experience, and experience working in a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Roadworthy driver's license
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
  • Trade qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Drill or Excavator maintenance experience
  • Experience working in a mining environment
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
