Technical Assessment Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Assessment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical assessments of work instructions, developing work instructions, and providing technical advice and support to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical assessments of work instructions for planned and corrective maintenance.
  • Develop work instructions to enable authorized repair agents to undertake required work scopes.
  • Provide technical advice and support to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering installation/maintenance/repair practices within a quality framework.

Requirements:

  • Australian Defence Clearance
  • Technical background in Mechanical/Electrical systems preferably in a maritime or defence environment
  • Knowledge of Defence Tools and Systems like Mercury, SharePoint, and AMPS
  • Substantial experience in the conduct of engineering installation/maintenance/repair practices within a quality framework
