Job Summary:
Techforce Personnel is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join one of our trusted clients on a permanent 8/6 roster. As a key member of the corporate and project teams, you will be responsible for providing support in the delivery of work activities safely and ensuring health, safety, and environmental management system compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, audit, and conduct inspections of site-specific HSE management systems to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist operational teams in adhering to the HSE Management system, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement new HSE initiatives to enhance the safety and well-being of employees and the environment.
- Compile and issue HSE-based reports, including incident reports and trends analysis, to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Communicate HSE requirements to project and corporate teams, ensuring effective dissemination of critical information.
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health, and environmental policies and programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site, fostering a culture of safety and transparency.
- Conduct incident investigations and issue findings to project teams and management as required, driving corrective action and improvement.
- Provide training and advice on health and safety matters to site work areas, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely.
- Perform training activities and assessments across the entire site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Create plans and deliver site training objectives, developing retraining plans for employees who do not meet the required standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Cert IV OH&S (Essential)
- Minimum Cert IV Training & Assessing 116 (Essential)
- White Card
- Training and assessing experience across mobile plant and high-risk areas
- Full, current driver's license
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Previous experience within HSE databases
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
