Merchandise Stocker Job Opportunity

The role of a Merchandise Stocker involves ensuring a clean and organized store environment by maintaining clear aisles, communicating with supervisors to determine merchandising plans, and aligning product on shelves.

Main Responsibilities

  • Organizational Skills: Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, prioritizing safety and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Product Management: Align products on shelves, collect stray items, and stock merchandise to maintain high product levels.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising priorities, and write lists of products to be brought from storage for stocking.
  • Pallet Management: Stock opened cases on shelves, move and position pallets using manual pallet jacks, and stack product from partial pallets to full pallets.
  • Visual Display: Use box cutters to cut boxes for display/accessibility of product, wrap or tie and tag pallets to be returned to storage, and set up display models assembling as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous customer service, help customers load large items into their carts, direct customers to products, and relate product status knowledge.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Supportive Duties: Assist with front-end duties as necessary, supporting other areas in the department as needed.

Requirements

  • Flexible Schedule: A part-time schedule of 24 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days per week, including weekend work hours between 5am and 11pm.
