About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Affinity Education Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for coordinating facilities work and project upgrades at our child care centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the completion of compliance facilities work and project upgrades at our child care centers
  • Facilitate and close out safety-related audits and initiatives (utilizing external contractors for the work)
  • Liaise with external and internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory and administrative requirements are met within designated timeframes
Requirements
  • Experience within a similar role or a role in real estate/property management is essential
  • Experience working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • High level of organization skills
  • Advanced level of attention to detail skills
  • Certificate in Business (Office Administration) desirable (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of the childcare services industry desirable (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to facility management desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to be self-motivated and work both autonomously and within a team
  • Understanding of work health and safety regulations
  • Collaborative team player
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements
