Our organisation is seeking Support Workers to join our team, providing in-home aged care and disability support services. The role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.About the Role

The Community Home Care Worker will provide assistance with domestic tasks, social support, transportation, and monitoring of clients' well-being. This role requires a high level of empathy, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
Requirements
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
