Job Title: Skilled Nursing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nursing professional to provide exceptional care to residents in our residential aged care home.

  • About the Job:
  • To deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, maintaining the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
Nursing Care Responsibilities:
  1. Providing Direct Clinical Care: Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents, adhering to best practice procedures and ensuring their needs are met.
  2. Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain a cooperative team spirit and support colleagues in providing exceptional care.
  3. Maintaining a Safe Environment: Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar qualification.
  • In-depth understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Excellent coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to apply for necessary clearances.
