Construction Project Quality Assurance Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our Offsite Manufacturing and Fabrication team. As a key member of the team, you will oversee the production and quality control of precast elements manufactured by subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project technical specifications, and program timelines;
- Coordinating testing of materials, such as concrete strength and rebar integrity;
- Identifying and reporting non-conformance issues;
- Managing Inspection and Test Records using TracBase;
- Providing design support, including design reviews and verification of shop drawings;
- Tracking and monitoring supplier performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting;
- Supporting commercial activities, including verifying claims quantities and checking supplier invoices;
- Maintaining health and safety compliance, undertaking surveillance to ensure safety standards at manufacturing facilities.
You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including the Temporary Works Supervisor and Coordinator, to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
- Proven experience in precast or offsite manufacturing projects is highly desirable;
- Strong understanding of engineering standards, inspection and test plans, and quality management systems;
- Proficiency in project management tools;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
