Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the construction of a major highway project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of sub-contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including HSE policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience working as a Civil Site Supervisor in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of road construction, including earthworks and drainage.
  • MRWA experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on a 10:4 roster.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Permanent Australian working rights.
