As part of our continued growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor for a 2/1 roster to work on our construction and renewable energy projects throughout Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing electrical commissioning activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution;
  • Supervising a team of commissioning technicians to ensure all tasks are completed according to project specifications and safety standards;
  • Preparing and reviewing commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists;
  • Conducting pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and start-up activities for electrical systems;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues identified during testing and commissioning phases;
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and provide feedback for design improvements;
  • Reviewing and approving test reports, commissioning documentation, and as-built drawings;
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Providing progress updates to the Commissioning/Engineering Manager and highlighting any potential risks or delays;
  • Supporting project close-out activities, including handover documentation and final testing reports.

We are looking for someone with:

  • An electrical trade qualification or a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering and white card;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in solar farm or large-scale construction projects;
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of technicians and subcontractors;
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing equipment, and commissioning procedures;
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations;
  • Proficient in using commissioning software and tools.

In exchange for your skills and experience, you can expect a salary of around AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and performance.
