We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team, working on large transformation projects delivering modernisation and improvement of services for Australians.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead workshops, gather and document business requirements, translate needs into functional specifications, collaborate with architects and developers, and ensure solutions meet compliance standards.

  • Lead and facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and process models.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and testers to ensure clear understanding and effective implementation.
  • Support ERP system integration, data migration, and configuration activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including workflows, system design documents, test cases, and implementation guides.
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance, assurance, and performance standards.
The Ideal Person

You are a highly skilled Business Analyst with proven experience across ERP/finance systems, particularly PeopleSoft, Aurion, and TechnologyOne.

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large, complex ICT programs.
  • Strong background in ERP/finance system analysis, integration, and data migration.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft, Aurion, or TechnologyOne implementations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or DevOps.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including requirements, workflows, and data models.
Bonus if you have
  • Prior experience in ERP implementation or modernisation projects within government.
  • BABOK/IIBA certification or similar industry qualifications.
  • Experience working in secure government environments.
