We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Environmental Consultant.

The role involves providing expert advice and support throughout the construction phase of projects. You will contribute to high-quality environmental outcomes by managing field-based assessments, supporting Fauna Spotter Catcher activities, and preparing detailed reports.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting ecological surveys and Fauna Spotter Catcher work on construction sites
  • Analysing field data and preparing clear, high-quality environmental reports
  • Using knowledge of biodiversity conservation to contribute to site planning and mitigation
  • Engaging with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders
  • Sometimes working independently and sometimes as part of a team

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Degree-qualified in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of Fauna Spotter Catcher responsibilities and ecological field methods
  • Excellent report writing and field data analysis skills
  • Working knowledge of environmental legislation (Qld, NSW, Victoria preferred)
  • Confident in fauna handling and wildlife rescue principles

Desirable skills include GIS mapping proficiency and knowledge of construction WHS protocols.
