Job Title: Experienced Teacher & Curriculum DeveloperJob Description:The school is seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and curriculum development, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of various age groups.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the educational needs of students;
  • Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
  • Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the school principal;
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills;
  2. Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn;
  3. Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice and providing feedback on student growth and achievement;
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community;
  5. Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values, with a commitment to reflecting upon practice and engaging in professional learning to continually improve teaching quality.
