You will work closely with our team to determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and draft and interpret specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:*

* Designing and planning construction projects
* Determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards
* Drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures
* Organizing and directing site labor and the delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment
* Establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
* Reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications
* Understanding good practices in designing and detailing, the various types of waterproofing systems, their limitations, and applications
* Providing data for designing activities through conducting field surveys and field studies
* Estimating budget for projects according to technical specifications and providing reports on estimated cost, materials, tools, and labor
* Monitoring activities on site regularly to obtain performance of construction materials and labor, in order to design strategies and methods to optimize these resources
* Engineering problems like water leakage and recommending technical solutions, including scope of work, material, and construction process
* Conducting relevant tests on membranes to determine compliance with standards
* Participating in technical meetings with employers and subcontractors
* Organizing and directing the completion of projects
* Effective communication and building positive relationships with clients, project team, and management
* Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance with the overall design and regulations and best engineering practice in projects

**Requirements:*

* Degree qualified in Engineering
* Minimum 2 years' of experience required in a similar role
* General Building Construction Knowledge
* Superb knowledge of all governing civil engineering standards, requirements, and guidelines
* Technical proficiencies include Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
* Possess management, analytical, and technical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Critical thinking and Attention to detail

**Salary:**

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
