Role Description

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor is a key position in our hotel's housekeeping team, responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of public areas. This includes ensuring high standards of cleanliness, on-time completion of tasks, and adherence to company policies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in hospitality to take their career to the next level. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain our hotel's reputation for excellence and provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning standards in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
  • Oversee the daily cleaning and presentation of public areas, including common areas, bathrooms, lounges, reception, and corridors.
  • Ensure team members are fully conversant with health and safety obligations and adhere to policies.
  • Provide on-the-job training and support for team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in housekeeping or a related role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management software is advantageous.
  • Police check.
  • Work rights within Australia.
