Job Description

As a Graduate Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting underground and surface mining operations at our gold producer. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to gain proficiency in survey tasks, CAD processing, and end of month reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Senior Surveyors and Mine Surveyors in maintaining the underground model, executing mine design, and reporting.
  • Supplying all survey requirements for underground and surface mine operations while adhering to statutory requirements and Company Safety, Health, and Environmental standards and procedures.
  • Gaining proficiency in completing surface and underground survey tasks autonomously.
  • Performing calculations and computation of survey field work as per Mine Surveyors' requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Surveying.
  • Practical experience or vacation work is advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
