About the Role

We're seeking dedicated support workers to join our team in assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role involves providing active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans, including daily personal care tasks and facilitating community access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred support to clients with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as toileting, showering, and dressing
  • Use safe manual handling techniques to prevent injury
  • Facilitate community access and transport using designated vehicles or public transport
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress
  • Work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and be comfortable driving company vehicles
  • Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient individual
  • Previous experience in disability support is preferred, but not essential
  • Certification in Disability Support would be beneficial, but not mandatory
