Financial Management Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial accounting, management accounting, and payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) within required timeframes.
  • Manage compliance with government and statutory obligations, including ATO, GST, Workers' Compensation, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation, with effective communication to the business on any changes/updates.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records.
  • Support the development of budgeting and forecasting processes, taking into careful consideration other key financial data.
  • Assist and implement process and system improvements, while maintaining the business's ERP.
  • Monitor cash flow and deliver on forward-looking cash flow forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with external and other professional advisors, as required.
  • Oversee and provide accurate and timely payroll processing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a closely related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role across financial/management accounting, reporting, and payroll management ideally within manufacturing or retail.
  • Strong technical accounting skills in both management and financial areas, with a strong eye for detail.
  • Proven use of accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience in managing and processing payroll.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Excellent work ethic, with the ability to promote and build strong team morale, providing support to other functions when required.
