Job Description:

The Inclusion Support Educator is a key role within our childcare services team, responsible for assessing and supporting the care of children with designated or diagnosed supported needs. The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning and other inclusion activities, helping children develop their academic, social and emotional skills in line with their individual learning outcomes.

The role involves engaging with Allied Health services to assist with these outcomes, ensuring the highest level of service delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this position, as you will work closely with colleagues, parents, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Vocational qualification/s in Children's Services or related discipline">
  • Demonstrated experience in early childhood education">
  • Sound knowledge of child development and current practices in childcare">
  • Knowledge of Education and Care Services National Regulation">
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Frameworks">
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution">
  • First Aid Certificate">
  • CPR Certificate">
  • Current and maintained NSW Drivers Licence">
  • Current and maintained National Police History Check">
  • Current and maintained Working with Children Check">

It is highly desirable that the successful candidate possesses experience in a similar inclusion support role, knowledge of Harmony software, Electronic Records systems, Child protection certificate, and Food Handling Certificate.
