Job Description:

The Education and Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role within the Strategy, Engagement and Education (SEE) services. The SEE team develops and delivers engagement and education strategies that raise awareness about equal opportunity principles and laws in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Researching, developing and implementing effective engagement and education strategies to increase awareness and understanding of equal opportunity principles and laws.
  • Delivering and facilitating engaging education and training sessions for public, private, and not-for-profit organisations, as well as the broader community, to promote awareness and compliance with equal opportunity laws and principles.
  • Actively engaging with and consulting community groups to understand and incorporate lived experiences of equal opportunity issues, ensuring programs and initiatives are informed, inclusive, and responsive to community needs.
