Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

The role of an Early Childhood Educator is a critical one in shaping the lives of young children. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team at Jellybeans Attadale Centre. As an Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth in children aged 0-5 years.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Certificate 3 or Diploma qualified Educator who is committed to providing high-quality care and education to our children. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and evaluate programs that cater to the diverse needs of our learners.

You will work collaboratively with our team of professionals to ensure that our centre provides a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.

  • Care for the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children aged 0-5 years;
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging programs that meet the individual needs of children;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to education and care;
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders to keep them informed about their child's progress;
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and program implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services;
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS);
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A current Working with Children Check;
  • First Aid certificate.
