Job Title: Security & Emergency Management AdvisorJob Description:

The role of the Security and Emergency Management Advisor is to provide expert advice and support on security, emergency management, and business continuity issues across all business groups, contractors, and external stakeholders.

This includes delivering security and emergency response capability and service delivery, providing technical advice and support, representing Operations in the Midstream, and developing and participating in inspections/audits/assurance reviews specific to company HSSE Framework, Crisis Incident Management Framework requirements, and AMS Barrier ownership (Emergency) internally and externally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing Asset level Security Plans, Maritime Security Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Adverse Weather Plan, Business Continuity Plan, Duty Manager Procedures, and ensuring alignment with wider Operational and Organisational HSSE requirements.

Additionally, the role involves owning and proactively managing relationships with key security and emergency response stakeholders, including Local and State and Federal emergency/security services and regulatory agencies, and actively participating in HSSE incident/accident investigations and presenting findings to Asset Management Incident Review Panels.

Key responsibilities include delivering protocols ensuring effective contract management for the security and emergency-related contracts across Midstream, and ensuring that all security and emergency programs and activities are aligned with wider operational and organisational requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in security and emergency management, with a focus on crisis management and business continuity.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of asset management systems, safety procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
