Real Estate Property Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Lawyer to join our team in Brisbane.

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to:

  • Pursue a challenging career in real estate law
  • Collaborate with experienced lawyers on complex property matters
  • Work with a variety of clients, helping them navigate significant projects in Queensland

The role involves working closely with colleagues and gaining hands-on experience in an array of matters across both public and private sectors, including property development, large property and infrastructure project work.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting large property transactions and fostering strong relationships with clients. The team has a diverse portfolio of major commercial clients and is renowned for its expertise in advising on real estate industry matters.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse matters, including:

  • Renewable energy projects, such as hydrogen, wind farm, solar, hydro, and carbon capture initiatives
  • Capital transactions work for large institutional clients
  • Social and affordable housing projects that will positively impact the lives of many Queenslanders affected by the housing crisis
  • Transport projects focused on improving rail and road networks and infrastructure across Queensland
  • Other large infrastructure projects, including those related to the 2032 Olympics
  • Property transaction and leasing work, primarily major head office and industrial leasing for clients

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant property experience, exposure to different types of property matters, and ideally between 3-6 years' post-admission experience
  • Excellent client-facing capability
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • A strong academic background
  • An enthusiasm to learn and grow as a real estate lawyer
